The International Carl Loewe Society e.V. (ICLG), founded on December 10, 1992 in Löbejün, continues the traditions of the Loewe associations founded in Berlin in 1882 and in Löbejün in 1888, is dedicated to maintaining Carl Loewe's musical legacy and operates one worldwide used scientific information and information service on the life and works of Carl Loewe.
The ICLG currently has members from Poland, Scotland, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Japan, the USA and all over Germany.
